This tour (departing from Florence) gives you the unique opportunity to discover the highlights of Tuscany in just a day. It begins with a visit to Pisa, where you will have free time to explore Piazza dei Miracoli, including the Baptistery, the Cathedral and, of course, the famous Leaning Tower. After enjoying the iconic sights of Pisa, your day will continue with a decadent lunch full of Tuscan favorites and including a tasting of renowned local wine. After lunch, we will treat you to a visit to San Gimignano - a splendid Medieval town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will have free time to see the iconic towers or perhaps visit one of the town's museums. You can then relax on an air-conditioned coach as we whisk you along panoramic roads and into the idyllic Chianti region, where you will stop for a guided tour of Siena. The city is famous for its annual Palio Horse Race and is home to many intriguing monuments, palaces and piazzas, including Piazza del Campo (where the horse race is held) and Piazza del Duomo, where you will see the exterior of the magnificent Cathedral. After some free time in Siena, you can relax on your journey back to Florence and reflect on your day discovering Tuscany.
