This touring vacation departs from Florence and takes you on a beautiful journey through Tuscany and the Cinque Terra, finishing in Portovenere.

Day 1: Arrive in Florence

You will be treated to luxury from the moment you arrive in Tuscany, with private airport transfers from Pisa Airport to your hotel in central Florence.

 

Day 2: Pisa & Florence

On the first full day of your touring vacation of Tuscany and the Cinque Terre, you will be taken on a tour of Pisa, where you will have the opportunity to see Piazza dei Miracoli and the famous Leaning Tower with an expert guide. Climb the steps up the tower for a glorious view of the cityscape and learn more about the tower's history and construction from our knowledgeable guide.

 

Day 3-4: Florence

Today you can enjoy a fascinating tour of Florence, widely known as the Jewel of the Renaissance. As a part of this outdoor tour, your guide will tell you about Florence's Roman origins and you will see 15th century palaces, Ponte Vecchio, the famous Uffizi Gallery courtyard and Brunelleschi's Dome, and as a special finale to this Florence walking tour you can enjoy an aperitivo of drinks and snacks. If desired, we can arrange entry tickets to the Accademia and Uffizi galleries so that you can admire the glorious masterpieces, including the statue of David.

 

Day 5: San Gimignano, Siena & the Chianti wine region

After enjoying a buffet breakfast at your hotel in Florence, you will be whisked into the Tuscan countryside for a full-day tour. First, we will take you to the medieval town of San Gimignano, which is famous for its historic towers and charming culture. Here, you will have free time to explore the little-known sights before the tour continues to the Chianti region, allowing you to take in some of the delightful scenery that Tuscany is famous for. The tour stops on an authentic wine estate, where you can visit the cellars and sample local vintages, along with a decadent lunch of pasta and local meats. Finally, the tour continues to Siena, home of the famous Palio horse race. An expert guide will show you all the main attractions, including the Cathedral, Piazza del Campo and the Monteriggioni Fortress before you return to your hotel in Florence.

 

Day 6: Cinque Terre & Portovenere

Today, we leave Tuscany to see the charming fishing villages that define the UNESCO-protected Cinque Terre national park in Liguria. This famous stretch of coastline is defined by its rocky cliffs that roll dramatically into the glistening waters of the Ligurian sea, giving you the opportunity to enjoy one of Italy's prettiest coasts. The tour begins in Portovenere, which is an elegant resort where you will have free time to browse the boutique stores or buy gifts. The tour then continues with a boat or train ride along the Cinque Terre, on which you can discover Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare. There will be free time for lunch and swimming in the sea before the tour returns to Florence.

 

Day 7: Ciao Toscana!

It's time to say "ciao" to Tuscany and, after enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we will whisk you to Pisa Airport in style in a private car.
